Small and medium businesses come to it for accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax and advisory services, from startup accounting and business formation to real estate accounting. Federal programs, small offices and mission-driven initiatives come to it for integrated business management, financial operations support, and marketing and branding solutions.

Accounting experience runs through both. The firm combines administrative and financial expertise with accessible web development, digital marketing and public outreach, and it is a certified WOSB / EDWOSB.

Corvinus is led by its owner, whose background includes Certified Public Accountant, Financial Controller, Director of Financial Reporting and QuickBooks ProAdvisor experience. That background extends to business operations, real estate asset management, audit readiness and internal controls, marketing strategy and brand development, and website and graphic design.

Corvinus Business Solutions is a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and a certified Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). It is a 100% woman-owned, single-member LLC.

Both designations come from the federal Women-Owned Small Business program, run by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The program lets contracting officers set aside certain federal contracts so that only certified firms compete for them. In some circumstances it also allows an award to be made to a certified firm on a sole-source basis.

For a buyer, that means Corvinus is eligible for WOSB and EDWOSB set-asides and sole-source awards. Whether a particular requirement qualifies is a determination for the contracting office, which applies the current program rules to that requirement.

Corvinus is a single-member LLC, so every engagement has one point of accountability. Where a project needs more design, branding or digital communications capacity, a subcontractor partnership expands it without increasing overhead. The owner scopes the work and remains accountable for it, including any part carried out with partner capacity. For a client, that means one contact and one line of responsibility, with room to take on creative work that one person could not deliver alone.

WOSB stands for Women-Owned Small Business and EDWOSB for Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business.
